Berry waffle sundaes

Create a quick and delicious dessert by topping crispy waffles with fresh berries and ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 500g Brand Frozen Berries
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 4 Toscano Traditional Belgian Waffles
  • 4 scoops ice-cream
Instructions:
  • In a medium-large saucepan, cook berries, sugar, and vanilla over medium heat for 7-10 minutes until they are warm and syrupy.
  • Toast waffles in a toaster until warm and lightly crispy. Cut each waffle into quarters. In each of the 4 serving dishes, layer 2 waffle quarters, top them with a scoop of ice cream, and generously spoon over the berry mixture.
  • Serve immediately by topping with the remaining waffle quarters.
