Decadent waffles topped with sweet whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries, perfect for dessert or breakfast!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries or 1 package (10 oz) sliced frozen strawberries, thawed, drained
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) blueberries
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Additional berries, if desired
Instructions:
  • Whip the whipping cream and powdered sugar in a chilled medium bowl until stiff peaks form using an electric mixer. Gently fold in the strawberries and blueberries.
  • Preheat your Belgian or regular waffle iron. (If it's not nonstick, lightly brush with vegetable oil or cooking spray before pouring batter for each waffle.)
  • In a small bowl, whip eggs with an electric mixer on high speed for about 3 minutes until thick and lemon colored. Blend in milk, Bisquick, and granulated sugar on low speed until smooth. Gently fold in oil. Pour the batter onto a hot waffle iron following manufacturer's guidelines. Close the lid of the waffle iron.
  • Bake for approximately 5 minutes or until the steaming subsides. Gently take out the waffle and top with berry cream and extra berries.
