Elevate your brunch with a luxurious slow-cooker berry sauce infused with orange liqueur.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries, stems removed
  • 6 oz fresh blueberries
  • 6 oz fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
  • Grated peel and juice of 1 medium orange
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Generously coat a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Combine all sauce ingredients in the slow cooker. Cook covered on High heat setting for 2 to 3 hours, or until the sauce thickens.
  • As your dish nears completion, preheat the waffle iron. If your waffle iron lacks a nonstick coating, consider brushing it with vegetable oil or spraying it with cooking spray before pouring batter. In a large bowl, whisk all waffle ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour about 2/3 cup of batter onto the center of a hot waffle iron following the manufacturer's guidance. Close the lid and bake for roughly 5 minutes until steaming ceases. Gently take out the waffle and repeat with the remaining batter. Serve the waffles with a side of warm berry sauce.
