Indulge in bite-sized fudgy chocolate brownies topped with fresh berries for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, melted (2 oz)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fat-free (skim) milk
  • 3 cups raspberries or strawberries
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease or spray the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan. Mix brownie ingredients in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread the batter in the pan.
  • Bake for 28 to 30 minutes, or until brownies are set and start to pull away from the edges of the pan. Avoid overbaking. Allow to cool completely, about 45 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat 1/4 cup of margarine until light and fluffy. Then, mix in the rest of the frosting ingredients, adding milk as needed for the desired spreading consistency. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.
  • Slice into 48 equal pieces. Garnish each piece with fresh raspberries and dust with powdered sugar.
