Berry cobbler topped with buttery dough, served warm with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a saucepan, mix blueberries, water, 1 cup white sugar, and 1 tablespoon butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until warmed through, approximately 5 minutes. Pour the blueberry mixture into a deep 1 1/2 to 2-quart baking dish.
  • Cream together 1/2 cup white sugar and 1 tablespoon butter until smooth. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt before mixing them into the sugar-butter mixture. Stir in the milk until well combined, then pour the batter over the blueberries.
  • Bake in the oven until golden brown and bubbly, approximately 30 minutes.
