Stovetop rice pudding made with eggs, butter, and vanilla for a quick and delicious classic dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • 0.66666668653488 cup golden raisins
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, and salt. Cook and stir until thick and creamy, for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup milk, golden raisins, beaten egg, and white sugar until well blended, about 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  • Finish by gently swirling in the butter and vanilla extract off the heat.
