Decadent devil's food cake soaked in condensed milk, caramel, toffee bits, and topped with whipped cream - a heavenly delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces caramel ice cream topping, divided
  • 3.25 (1.4 ounce) bars chocolate covered toffee, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease the bottom of a 9x13-inch glass pan.
  • In a large bowl, use a mixer on medium speed to combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it rest on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Then, gently cut shallow slits on the top of the cake without touching the bottom of the dish.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk and 6 ounces caramel topping in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Pour the mixture over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in. Reserve 1 to 2 tablespoons of chopped chocolate toffee for decoration and sprinkle the remaining toffee generously over the entire cake.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before generously topping it with whipped topping. Sprinkle the reserved toffee over the top and finish by drizzling the remaining caramel topping for a stunning finish.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until completely cold, then serve directly from the pan. Delicious!
