Pineapple Better than Sex Cake

Irresistible pineapple better-than-sex cake with yellow cake mix, vanilla pudding, canned pineapple, and whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.25 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup flaked coconut, toasted
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to prepare and bake in a 9x13-inch cake pan.
  • Once the cake is in the oven, simmer pineapple with juice and white sugar in a saucepan until thick and syrupy for about 20 minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally. Once the cake is done, poke holes in the top and generously pour the pineapple mixture over it. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
  • Once the cake has cooled slightly, whip together the pudding mix and milk until smooth. Then, generously spread the creamy pudding mixture over the cooled cake.
  • Whip cream until slightly thickened, then add confectioner's sugar and vanilla, and continue whipping until soft peaks form. Spread over cake, chill for 24 hours, and sprinkle with coconut and pecans before serving.
