Indulgent, caramel-drenched cake that's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • 1 jar (16 to 17 oz) caramel, butterscotch or fudge topping
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 3/4 cup toffee chips or bits (from 8-oz package)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Prepare and bake cake according to the box instructions for a 13x9-inch pan. Allow cake to cool in the pan on a cooling rack for 5 minutes.
  • Using a wooden spoon handle (1/4 to 1/2 inch diameter), poke holes nearly to the bottom of the cake every half inch, wiping the handle occasionally to prevent sticking. Evenly drizzle condensed milk over the cake and allow it to absorb. Next, drizzle caramel topping over the cake. Run a knife along the sides of the pan to loosen the cake. Cover and refrigerate for about 2 hours until chilled. Enjoy!
  • Cover the cake with a generous layer of whipped topping before sprinkling with delicious toffee bits. Keep the cake covered in the refrigerator for best results.
