  • 1 (5 pound) 3-inch thick beef top sirloin steak
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, coat the steak with sugar to create a flavorful crust. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow it to marinate at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill on high and gently grease the grate with oil.
  • Grill steak until both sides are caramelized, approximately 10 minutes per side.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the steak on top.
  • Roast the steak in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes on each side until it reaches a reddish-pink, juicy center. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure it reaches 130°F (54°C). After cooking, let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
