Easy homemade bacon buttermilk biscuits - tender, buttery, and delicious with only 5 ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup baking powder
  • 1.5 cups butter, cut into large chunks
  • 1.75 cups buttermilk
  • 8 ounces crumbled cooked bacon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease 2 muffin tins with butter.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Add butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gently fold in buttermilk and bacon until dough comes together.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and roll it out evenly. Then, gently fold the dough a few times. Use a cookie or biscuit cutter to create circles and place them in the muffin tins.
  • Place the biscuits in the preheated oven's top rack and bake until they are lightly browned, for about 20 to 25 minutes.
