Irresistible Chinese stir-fry that will have you coming back for more. Perfect with fluffy steamed rice.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 small head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 pinch salt, to taste
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • Preheat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat with a splash of oil. Quickly saute garlic for 5 seconds, then add ground beef. Stir-fry until beef is perfectly browned, usually about 5 to 7 minutes, and then discard any excess fat.
  • Combine the cabbage and pepper, and sauté until the veggies are tender and the beef is well done. Finish by adding the soy sauce.
  • Create a smooth slurry by combining cornstarch with water, then blend into the mixture. Season with pepper and salt to enhance flavors. Simmer while stirring until the sauce reaches desired thickness.
