Delicious blonde apple brownies with a sweet blend of brown sugar and cinnamon - a tasty update to the classic recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup lightly packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 6 McIntosh apples - peeled, cored, and diced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Using an electric mixer, whip together butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until velvety and smooth. Blend in flour until fully incorporated; then add baking powder and mix well. Gently mix in cinnamon. Carefully fold in apples and spread the batter evenly in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
