Decadent blonde brownies with nuts and chocolate chips made effortlessly with pantry basics for a chewy, buttery delight.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 0.66666668653488 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  • Combine the sifted flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl. Add in the chopped nuts and mix well. Let it sit while you prepare the wet ingredients.
  • Combine rich brown sugar and luscious melted butter in a large bowl until perfectly blended; allow to cool for a moment.
  • Mix the beaten egg and vanilla into the brown sugar mixture. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring until just combined. Spread the batter in the prepared baking pan and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
