Savory bacon bowls filled with fresh lettuce and juicy tomatoes, perfect for any gathering. Guaranteed crowd-pleaser served at room temperature.
Ingredients:
  • 18 slices bacon
  • 1.5 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 head butter lettuce - rinsed, and torn
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Flip two muffin tins over and wrap the exterior of 9 cups with aluminum foil. Set aside.
  • Create a bacon mat by weaving 9 strips across and 9 strips wide. Cut into 9 squares and place each square over a foil-covered muffin cup.
  • Crisp up the bacon in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Transfer the bacon cups from the pan to cool completely. Fill each cup with lettuce and tomato halves, then add shredded Cheddar cheese on top. Serve at room temperature.
