Cheesy bacon chicken burgers with fresh veggies - quick and satisfying dinner in half an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 5 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 slice white sandwich bread
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns, split
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a 10-inch skillet until it is crispy. Transfer the bacon to paper towels to drain, then crumble it and set it aside.
  • Preheat gas or charcoal grill. Mash bread and milk in a medium bowl using a fork until well mixed. Add chicken, cheese, and bacon, then mix well. Shape into four 1/2-inch thick patties.
  • Brush the grill rack with oil, then grill the patties over medium heat. Cover and cook for 9 to 12 minutes, flipping once, until a meat thermometer reads 165°F when inserted into the center of the patties.
  • Lay burgers on bottom buns, add lettuce and tomato, then crown with top buns.
