Blueberry crumble pie with a delightful cinnamon-oat topping. Use fresh or frozen berries. Quick and loved by all!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated rolled pie pastry
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
  • 5 cups fresh blueberries
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 0.66666668653488 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Create a delicious pie by gently pressing the pie pastry into a 9-inch pie plate to form a perfect crust.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and flour. Add the lemon juice and zest, then gently fold in the blueberries. Transfer the mixture into the crust.
  • Create the topping by mixing oats, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Use two knives or a pastry blender to cut in cold butter until the mixture forms coarse crumbs. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the pie filling.
  • Bake in the oven until the filling is bubbly and the topping is golden brown, which should take around 40 minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving.
