Blueberry-Almond Crumble

Quick and easy, this irresistible crumble comes together in just 20 minutes prep time.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 5 cups fresh or frozen (do not thaw) blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread almonds evenly in a shallow pan. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and toasted almonds in a medium bowl. Add butter and blend with a pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly.
  • Prepare the baking dish by coating it with cooking spray. Combine granulated sugar and flour in a large bowl before adding the blueberries and lemon juice, gently tossing everything together. Transfer the mixture into the baking dish and evenly sprinkle the oat mixture on top.
  • Bake until the filling bubbles and the topping turns golden brown, approximately 50 minutes. Serve while warm.
