Indulge in a delectable blueberry and strawberry crisp paired perfectly with creamy ice cream for the ultimate dessert experience.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups halved fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • Butter-flavor cooking spray
  • 2 cups vanilla fat-free ice cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and generously spray a 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine blueberries, strawberries, granulated sugar, flour, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt in a medium bowl. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
  • Combine 1/2 cup flour, oats, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Use a pastry blender or 2 knives to cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over berries and top with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is bubbly and golden. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream to enjoy.
