Versatile bolognese sauce: perfect for pasta, baked potatoes, tortillas, and beyond! Unlimited possibilities to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 small brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 200g beef mince
  • 22.20 gm tomato paste
  • 206.25 gm tomato pasta sauce
  • 40.00 ml basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 jacket potato, to serve
  • Shaved parmesan cheese, to serve
  • Small basil leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a non-stick saucepan over medium-high heat, sizzle onion in oil until soft, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic for 1 minute. Brown mince by cooking for 5 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Mix in tomato paste, pasta sauce, and fresh basil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Bring the sauce to a boil, then simmer uncovered on medium-low heat for 20 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Drizzle sauce generously over a fluffy baked potato. Sprinkle with savory Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Enjoy!
