Try this irresistible bourbon sweet potato casserole for a festive holiday feast!
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 cups chopped sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup bourbon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously grease a casserole dish.
  • In a bowl, mix sweet potatoes, sugar, melted butter, milk, bourbon, eggs, and vanilla. Transfer the mixture to the casserole dish.
  • Bake in the oven already warmed up for 25-30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine pecans, brown sugar, flour, and 1/3 cup melted butter, and set aside.
  • Take the casserole out of the oven and generously sprinkle the pecan mixture over the top. Place it back in the oven and bake until the topping turns a beautiful golden brown, typically around 15 minutes.
