Creamy Parmesan dressing elevates broccoli pasta salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package bow-tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag broccoli florets
  • 1 (10 ounce) basket cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 0.5 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip®)
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a vigorous boil. Cook bow-tie pasta until al dente, approximately 12 minutes; then drain.
  • Rapidly cool the cooked pasta under cold running water to halt the cooking process, then drain.
  • Combine the chilled pasta with broccoli, tomatoes, green onions, celery, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper in a spacious bowl.
  • Combine the salad dressing, Parmesan cheese, sugar, basil, and salt in a bowl and gently mix until well combined.
  • Drizzle the flavorful dressing over the pasta and delicately mix to ensure every strand is perfectly coated.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or overnight, before serving.
