Balsamic vinegar enhances tomato and herb flavors in chicken saute.
Ingredients:
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions:
  • Rub both sides of the chicken breasts with a flavorful blend of garlic salt and pepper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sizzle the chicken breasts in olive oil until golden on both sides for 3 to 4 minutes each. Then, toss in the onion and sauté until caramelized for another 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Cover chicken with a flavorful blend of diced tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, then generously season with basil, oregano, rosemary, and thyme. Cook on low heat until chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), about 15 minutes.
