Indulge in quick and flavorful soy-glazed salmon for a classic seafood dinner in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 salmon steaks, about 3/4 inch thick (2 lb)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin (sweet rice wine) or apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated gingerroot
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add salmon and cook for 3 minutes until browned on one side. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes until browned on the other side.
  • Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and then pour the mixture into the skillet. Lower the heat to medium-low.
  • Cook the salmon until it easily flakes with a fork, approximately 8 to 12 minutes. Serve the salmon on plates and generously drizzle with the sauce.
