Elevate sweet bread with chocolate chips and sliced almonds for a decadent twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups Gold Medal™ Better for Bread™ flour
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine or quick active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
Instructions:
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions and add all ingredients, except almonds, into the bread machine pan. Add the almonds when the Raisin/Nut signal sounds or 5 to 10 minutes before the final kneading cycle is complete.
  • Choose either the Sweet or Basic/White cycle and select a Medium or Light crust color. Once baked, take the bread out of the pan and allow it to cool on a wire rack.
