Corn and cranberry dish with a hint of molasses, versatile for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 tablespoons molasses or honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 cups Gold Medal™ Better for Bread™ flour
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Carefully layer all ingredients except cranberries in the bread machine pan following the manufacturer's guidelines. Toss in the cranberries once the Raisin/Nut signal goes off or during the last 5 to 10 minutes of the kneading cycle.
  • Choose the Basic/White cycle with either Medium or Light crust color. Do not utilize delay cycles. Take the baked bread out of the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
