Delicious cranberry walnut bread made in the bread machine with buttermilk, cinnamon, fruit, and nuts. Perfect toasted or plain.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1.5 tablespoons margarine, softened
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 0.75 cup dried cranberries
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Add all the ingredients (excluding cranberries and walnuts) to the bread machine pan following the manufacturer's suggested order. Choose the Light Crust and Sweet Cycle setting, then press Start.
  • Add the cranberries and walnuts to the machine when the Fruit setting activates, or about 5 minutes before the kneading cycle ends.
