Fluffy and tasty bread made effortlessly in a bread machine using mashed potato mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 cups Gold Medal™ Better for Bread™ Flour
  • 1/2 cup Betty Crocker™ Potato Buds™ Mashed Potatoes (dry)
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seed
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1 2/3 cups water
  • 4 cups Gold Medal™ Better for Bread™ Flour
  • 2/3 cup Betty Crocker™ Potato Buds™ Mashed Potatoes (dry)
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast*
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 1 1/2-pound bread recipe using a bread machine with 3 cups of flour, or opt for a 2-pound loaf using 4 cups of flour in the bread machine.
  • Carefully measure all ingredients and place them in the bread machine pan following the manufacturer's recommended order.
  • Choose the Basic/White cycle with either a Medium or Light crust color setting. Once the bread is baked, take it out of the pan and let it cool on a rack.
