Delicious and easy family recipe: Crispy homemade hamburger patties with bread crumbs and eggs. Serve with golden fried potatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 cups bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 small onion, sliced into rings
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine eggs in a small bowl. Spread bread crumbs on a plate. In a medium bowl, blend ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Shape into 4 patties. Dip each patty in eggs, then coat with bread crumbs.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil until shimmering. Cook the breaded hamburgers until nicely browned on each side, approximately 2 minutes per side.
  • Layer onion rings at the base of a baking dish or casserole dish. Add water to lightly coat the bottom, keeping the onions peeking through. Gently nestle burgers on top of the onions without submerging them in the water.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the burgers are fully cooked.
