Parmesan and panko crusted pheasant chunks - a crispy, flavorful delight!
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups Italian-style panko bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 0.75 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 skinless, boneless pheasant breast halves, cut into chunks
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix panko, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, black pepper, and mustard powder in a bowl until well combined.
  • In a skillet over low heat, melt butter with garlic. After melting, cook and stir the garlic for 5 minutes to infuse the butter with flavor. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Dip the pheasant pieces in the garlic-infused butter, then coat with panko crumbs. Arrange the coated nuggets on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining panko crumbs over the pheasant.
  • Roast the pheasant in the preheated oven until the center is no longer pink, approximately 45 minutes.
