Indulge in irresistible bliss balls with chocolate or coconut toppings, perfect for dessert or a morning treat.
Ingredients:
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 25g butter
  • 32.50 gm cocoa powder, sifted
  • 13.60 gm desiccated coconut
  • 40.00 ml chocolate sprinkles
Instructions:
  • In a medium heavy-based saucepan over medium heat, combine condensed milk, butter, and cocoa. Cook while stirring constantly for 10 to 12 minutes until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a heatproof bowl and allow it to cool for 15 minutes. For best results, refrigerate until cold or overnight if possible.
  • Take the chilled mixture out of the fridge. Let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or until it softens enough to scoop easily. Prepare a large baking tray lined with parchment paper. Shape 2 level teaspoons of the mixture into balls.
  • Roll half of the brigadeiros in delicious coconut flakes and the rest in colorful sprinkles. Chill until ready to enjoy. Let the brigadeiros sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
