Broccoli and bacon salad with creamy dressing

15-minute best ever salad with bacon, broccoli, and creamy mustard dressing.
Ingredients:
  • 150g Made Thin Sliced Streaky Bacon
  • 800g broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 125g (1/2 cup) whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 21.00 gm fresh lemon juice
  • 11.80 gm wholegrain mustard
  • 5.90 gm Dijon mustard
  • 200g red grapes, halved
  • 2 green shallots, thinly sliced
  • 40.00 ml slivered almonds, toasted
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan, fry the bacon over medium-high heat until golden and crisp, turning once, for 4-5 minutes. Remove from pan and coarsely chop.
  • Bring the saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Add the broccoli and cook for 3 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp. Drain the broccoli and then quickly cool it down under cold water before draining again.
  • Mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and mustards in a small bowl.
  • Place the broccoli beautifully on a platter, season it, then top it with bacon, grapes, shallot, and almonds. Finally, drizzle the dressing over everything and delicately toss to combine, if desired.
