Cheesy broccoli rice bake with bacon and creamy chicken sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) package chopped frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar processed cheese sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in the rice, then cover and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
  • In a large, deep skillet, cook the bacon until evenly browned. Remove from skillet, crumble, and set aside. Then, sauté the onions in the flavorful bacon drippings over medium heat.
  • Combine the cooked rice, crispy bacon, flavorful onions, tender broccoli, creamy soup, and velvety cheese sauce in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
