Creamy broccoli soup with caramelized red onions in a velvety cheese broth.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound processed cheese, cubed
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
Instructions:
  • In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Cook and stir onions until tender.
  • Combine milk and cream cheese, stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted. Add cheese food and broccoli, stirring until the cheese food is melted and the soup is heated through.
