Ingredients:
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
  • 4 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf processed cheese food, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 0.66666668653488 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
Instructions:
  • In a stockpot over medium heat, melt butter until sizzling. Sauté onion until soft. Toss in broccoli, pour in broth, and gently simmer until broccoli is fork-tender, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Lower the heat and add the cheese cubes, stirring until melted. Mix in the milk and garlic powder.
  • Whisk cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth, then stir into soup. Cook and stir until thickened.
