Versatile brown sugar blondies with a rich chewy caramel flavor that can be easily customized with different mix-ins.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, flour, walnuts, butter, eggs, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl, stirring by hand until a smooth mixture forms. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven until the top is dry, and edges slightly pull away from the sides, for 25-30 minutes.
  • Allow the dish to rest while it cools for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
