Decadent pound cake with rich brown sugar and crunchy pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 cups butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Then, combine the flour and baking powder, and set the mixture aside.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in a large bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in chopped pecans. Transfer batter to prepared pan.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 75 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack to cool completely.
