Brown Sugar Shortbread

Make delicious buttery cookie wedges with just 4 ingredients and 4 simple steps.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® spread
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and generously grease a 9-inch round pan.
  • Using an electric mixer, beat spread and brown sugar in a large bowl for 5 minutes. Gradually mix in flour until combined. Spread the mixture evenly in a pan and cut the surface into 16 wedges.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely, around 30 minutes.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the shortbread by pouring it into a small plastic food-storage bag, twisting it to seal, cutting a tiny corner off the bag, then cutting the shortbread into 16 wedges.
