Create fun and festive gingerbread man brownies using Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix, vanilla frosting, a gingerbread man cookie cutter, and candy buttons. Perfect for a delightful family treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 16-oz container)
  • Green and red M&M's® Minis™ milk chocolate candies, as desired
  • Betty Crocker™ Decorating Decors sugars (assorted colors), as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, allowing 2 inches to hang over the sides. Grease the foil with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare the brownie batter according to the instructions on the box and spread it in the pan.
  • Bake according to package instructions, or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out nearly clean. Allow to cool on a rack for about 1 hour, then freeze in the pan for 30 minutes.
  • To remove brownies from the pan, gently lift using the foil and peel foil away. Use a 3-inch gingerbread man cookie cutter to cut out 8 gingerbread men shapes, gently pushing each brownie out of the cutter. Save the end pieces for snacking. If the cutter becomes sticky, wipe it clean with a damp paper towel before cutting again.
  • Transfer the frosting into a small resealable freezer plastic bag and partially seal the bag. Cut a small tip from one corner of the bag. Use the bag to pipe small amounts of frosting to attach candies for eyes and buttons onto each gingerbread man. Proceed to decorate with frosting and colored sugars as desired, using the photo as a reference.
  • Allow the frosting to set for around 30 minutes at room temperature. Once set, store covered at room temperature.
