Indulge in a decadent brownie torte - a frozen treat reminiscent of a brownie sundae.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
  • 2 tablespoons Betty Crocker™ pastel confetti
  • 16 red maraschino cherries with stems, drained
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line the bottom of 2 (9-inch) round cake pans with foil and grease with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Prepare the brownie batter according to the box instructions. Divide the batter evenly between the pans. Bake for 19 to 22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out almost clean. Let the brownies cool completely in the pans for about 1 hour without removing them.
  • Evenly coat the brownies in slightly softened ice cream, then freeze for a minimum of 2 hours until the ice cream is firm.
  • Gently release desserts from pans and discard foil. Transfer to individual plates. Slice each dessert into 8 wedges. Sprinkle with colorful candy and top with cherries. Keep covered in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
