Indulge in crispy brownie peanut chews made with Betty Crocker™ Supreme original brownie mix for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Delights Supreme Original Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan) and grease the bottom of an 8-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray. Prepare brownie batter as per box instructions and bake. Once done, sprinkle with marshmallows and bake for another 1 to 2 minutes until marshmallows start to puff up. Let cool on a rack for 30 minutes before serving.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, combine corn syrup, butter, peanut butter chips, and vanilla. Heat over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly until the chips are melted. Remove from heat and mix in cereal and peanuts. Spread the mixture evenly over the marshmallows. Refrigerate for about 1 1/2 hours until firm. Cut into 4 rows by 4 rows and store in the refrigerator.
