Satisfy your cravings with indulgent peanut butter caramel cheesecake brownies.
Ingredients:
  • 300g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g butter, chopped
  • 220g caster sugar
  • 2 Free Range Eggs
  • 185g plain flour
  • 25g cocoa powder
  • 80g sour cream
  • 250g cream cheese, softened
  • 70g peanut butter
  • 60ml caramel topping
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C and prepare a 20cm square cake pan by greasing and lining it with baking paper, ensuring the paper extends over the sides.
  • In a medium saucepan, gently melt the chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes until smooth. Remove from heat.
  • Stir in 3/4 cup (165g) sugar to the chocolate mixture. Incorporate the eggs, followed by adding the flour, cocoa powder, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
  • In a bowl, blend cream cheese and remaining sugar with an electric mixer until smooth. Incorporate peanut butter and beat until smooth. Swirl caramel topping gently for a marbled effect.
  • Layer spoonfuls of the chocolate and cream cheese mixtures on top of the prepared pan, alternating between the two. Use a skewer to swirl and create a marbled pattern.
  • Bake the brownie for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan for 1 hour, then cut into pieces to serve.
