Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms

Delicious Brussels sprouts and mushrooms sautéed with lemon, parsley, and tossed together.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 0.5 pound whole mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Boil Brussels sprouts in lightly salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain in a colander, pressing out excess water. Keep aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter until sizzling. Saute the mushrooms until they are golden brown, stirring constantly.
  • Combine Brussels sprouts and mushrooms, then generously sprinkle with fresh parsley, a squeeze of zesty lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and a crack of black pepper. Enjoy immediately.
