Thyme and mustard seasoned Brussels sprouts and mushrooms, a versatile side for any meat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved lengthwise
  • 0.5 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Toss Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, olive oil, thyme leaves, mustard, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well mixed.
  • In a hot skillet, sauté Brussels sprouts for 4 minutes. Keep stirring and cook for another 4 minutes. Turn up the heat to high and stir constantly for 2 more minutes.
