Pan-fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and almonds

Transform Brussels sprout skeptics with this irresistible recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 500g small brussels sprouts, halved, outer leaves discarded
  • 20g unsalted butter
  • 8 bacon or pancetta slices, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 250.00 ml whole almonds
  • 40.00 ml chopped flat-leaf parsley
Instructions:
  • Boil brussels sprouts in salted water for 3-4 minutes until tender. Then, drain and cool under cold water.
  • Heat oil and butter in a frypan until sizzling. Cook bacon until crisp, then add garlic and almonds for more flavor. Toss in brussels sprouts and heat through. Finish off with fresh parsley before serving.
