Pan-fried Brussels sprouts with bacon and shallots - a quick and delicious side dish for any meal.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 0.5 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 shallots, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen Brussels sprouts, thawed and halved
Instructions:
  • Fry the bacon in a large skillet until crispy; then drain on paper towels and crumble.
  • First, warm up the olive oil in a sizable skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the onion in the oil until it becomes soft. Then, mix in the bacon and cook it until it warms up. Finally, introduce the Brussels sprouts and continue to stir and cook until they turn golden brown, which will take about 7 to 10 minutes.
