Elevate Brussels sprouts with savory bacon for a flavor boost.
Ingredients:
  • 600g Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 100g Butter Salted
  • 50g breadcrumbs
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 shortcut bacon rashers, coarsely chopped
  • 50g pine nut
  • 20.00 ml finely grated lemon rind
  • 42.00 gm lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
Instructions:
  • Boil Brussels sprouts in a large saucepan of salted water for 5 minutes until tender, then drain thoroughly.
  • 1. In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, melt half of the butter until foaming. Add the breadcrumbs and garlic, stirring for 2 minutes until lightly golden. 2. Add the bacon and stir for another 1-2 minutes until lightly browned. 3. Toss in the remaining butter, Brussels sprouts, pine nuts, lemon rind, juice, and chili, cooking for 2 minutes until heated through. 4. Season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a serving bowl and serve promptly.
