Indulgent chocolate chunk cookie with peanut butter and chocolate ganache topping. Pure decadence!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • Butter, water and egg called for on cookie mix package
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine cookie mix, butter, water, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Place rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches of space between each. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are set. Allow the cookies to cool for 1 minute before transferring to a cooling rack. Let them cool completely for about 20 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread a teaspoon of the mixture onto the center of each cookie.
  • Place the chocolate chips and cream in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave on High for 30 to 45 seconds until melted. Stir until smooth. Spoon a generous teaspoonful of the chocolate mixture onto each cookie, spreading gently over the peanut butter layer. Let the chocolate set until firm for about 1 hour. Store the cookies covered in the refrigerator.
