Indulgent chocolate chunk cookies topped with decadent peanut butter for a delicious spin on Buckeye candy. Perfect for any Ohio State game day!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • Butter, water and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Combine cookie mix, butter, water, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms.
  • Spoon dough in rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet, ensuring they are 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set. Allow to cool for 1 minute before transferring to a cooling rack. Cool completely for about 20 minutes.
  • In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread a teaspoon of the mixture onto the center of each cookie.
  • Place chocolate chips and whipping cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 30-45 seconds until smooth, stirring well. Spoon a generous teaspoonful of the mixture onto each cookie, gently spreading it over the peanut butter layer. Let the chocolate set for around 1 hour until firm, then store the cookies covered in the refrigerator.
