Buddy's BBQ burgers

Kid-friendly mini burgers, customizable with fun toppings. Encourage creativity and empower kids to build their own burgers for a fun dining experience.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g quality lean minced beef
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese
  • 4 gherkins
  • 200 g red cabbage
  • red wine vinegar
  • ½ an iceberg lettuce
  • ½ a cucumber
  • 6 small burger buns preferably wholemeal
  • tomato ketchup to serve (optional)
Instructions:
  • Combine the beef mince with your hands and form it into 6 equal balls. Flatten and shape them into burger patties, ensuring they are compact. Chill the patties on a tray until ready to cook. Prep the toppings: slice the cheese and gherkins, crinkle-cut for extra fun. Toss red cabbage with red wine vinegar. Shred the iceberg lettuce and slice the cucumber. Grill the burgers for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked. Add cheese slices and cover to melt. Toast the burger buns for 30 seconds if using a barbecue. Build your burgers with gherkins, lettuce, cucumber, and pickled red cabbage. Serve with ketchup on the side. Enjoy!
